Join us Thursday April 24, 6:15pm-7:30pm for a SPECIAL EDITION Happy Hour Dance Class with award winning performers & chorographers, Paige Cunningham & Alfonso Cervera.
Poc-Chuc and Cunningham Technique: Connections, Collisions, and Collaboration
In this class, Cervera and Caldarella will adopt a collaborative teaching approach that honors the unique specialties of each artist within a contemporary dance framework. We will specifically incorporate elements from Ballet Folklorico, Release Technique, and Cunningham Technique to develop movement material that allows for the coexistence of diverse dance histories in the studio. The warm-up will feature an interactive exchange between Cervera and Caldarella, designed to explore our full physical range including floor work, multi-planar spinal movements, and various dynamics within our dancing.
